Bio

My name is Caleb Wilson and I am a T8 paraplegic. On December 23, 2022, a snowboarding jump changed my life forever, resulting in a T8 spinal cord injury and paralysis. While I lost the use of my legs that day, I never lost my deep love for the outdoors.

Just six months into my recovery, I was already back on the trails looking for a way to move again. I experimented with various wheelchair sports, but nothing clicked until I got behind the handles of an adaptive e-bike. The moment I started pedaling, I knew I had found my freedom again. Now, any chance I get, I’m out on the dirt, proving that a T8 diagnosis doesn't mean the end of the adventure.

Ideal Handcycle

I have been able to try almost variation of different adaptive mountain bikes and I have found the one that is the best for me. The bowhead reach is the most capable adaptive mountain bike I have found. This bike will take me almost anywhere.
