Reactive Adaptations Mako
The Reactive Adaptations Mako is a full-suspension recumbent off-road handcycle with electric assist, built for riders who prefer a recumbent position over prone. It features full suspension at all three wheels, rear-wheel drive, a Bafang BBSO2 750W mid-drive motor, and a Rohloff Speedhub 14-speed drivetrain (526% gear range). Front wheels are 24" for ground clearance; rear tire is 27.5"×2.8" for traction and a smooth ride. Carbon fiber seat pan available in 16" or 18" widths with 3" fore/aft adjustment. Foot tray adjusts 6" horizontally and 3.5" vertically. Steering via crankset or handlebars. Quad grips and brakes available for accessibility. Handcrafted in Colorado.
