# Top End Force 3 Dual Motor

The dual motor Force 3 is a custom modified Top End Force 3 (older model) that has two direct drive motors in the rear. This provides excellent traction when going up hills as well as regen braking that can electronically limit downhill speed.

Arguably the most popular handcycle for many years. The Top End Force 3 was [redesigned in 2023](https://wiki.ablebodied.org/books/top-end-3HZ/page/top-end-force-3), but there are many of these original designs in various programs or used online.
